Eastern TN to north Georgia is hilly. Here's a few shots through the bus window...
Cleveland is near two high points: Georgia's Brasstown Bald and Sassafras Mt. in SC. Here I am talking with a European on 30 meters from the summit of Brasstown Bald. The temperature is 32 degrees F.... I didn't chat real long.
Bigun needs to be walked about 5 miles a day. Sometimes, we all do it together. Some days, Deb and I take turns. Some days Bigun just chases the ball at the dog park. We are now familiar with dog parks all the way from Minneapolis, MN to Gainesville, GA.
It's Deja Vu all over again. We were out in this area last spring. Perhaps the novelty wore off. We hung out here a week and never took a picture...
We have the Arrowhead Park campground at Lake Tobesofkee completely to ourselves. It seems nobody wants to "camp" this time of year. Ha, we're not camping. We live here (for now anyway). Mostly we're staying in shape walking Bigun 3 to 5 miles per day. We've been to the Macon Dog park twice. If he runs around, we don't have to.
Ritzy and Bigun took us for a walk thru the Columbus Historic District, Heritage Park, and the River walk. NICE River walk!!
We woke up in the morning thinking we were going to Dothan... ended up at the Alabama State CapitOL. Go figure.
My winter project this year is a PC-to-Radio interface. This gizmo will allow me to do digital modes as well as SSB voice contesting.
Last week I didn't know what RTTY was. Now I "r" one.
